Amanda attained her Bachelor of Laws Degree from James Cook University in 2013 and her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Australian National University in 2014. Whilst studying, Amanda volunteered at the Magistrates, Supreme and District Court via Court Network. Amanda was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2014 and subsequently the High Court of Australia in 2015. Amanda is from a local family and has been working full time at Apels Solicitors & Notary since February 2015. Amanda is also a committee member for the Far North Queensland Law Society.  Amanda was appointed as an Associate of Apels Solicitors in 2020.
